Michelle Hathaway and her two daughters, Taylor and Frankie, move to New Orleans and discover that their new house is already occupied by a ghost family comprised of dad, Ray Preston, and his sons Miles and Louie.

As the newest member of the gymnastics team, Taylor is worried to find out she is responsible for hosting a team sleepover but Miles promises he and Louie will be on their best behavior. Unfortunately, Frankie and Louie team up to scare Taylor and her friends out of the house.

Taylor assures her gymnastics team she can win the top cash prize at the science fair so they can buy new uniforms, assuming Miles will help with his ghost powers. However, Michelle forbids Taylor from using Miles' short cuts, leaving Taylor to create the project herself. Michelle gets into bigger trouble when she tries to improve Taylor’s project and breaks it, and must rely on Louie’s erratic ghost powers to fix the problem.

An argument between Ray and Michelle causes them to each think they're the better parent so they decide to switch roles. Lo and behold, Michelle is unable to wrangle the boys and Ray is completely thrown by the intricacies of girl social antics.

Frankie is not exactly the best player on her school volleyball team, so Ray decides to give her a “boost” using his ghost powers. It’s a huge success, but at the next game when Frankie is left to rely on Louie’s erratic abilities, she needs to find the confidence from inside herself and step up on her own.

Taylor is asked to a society ball by a seemingly sweet kid but when he turns out to not be the best partner, Ray comes to her rescue.

The Hathaway/Preston Yard Sale is the first official “family” activity and everyone is on board until Louie fumbles his attempt at possessing one of the stuffed animals, landing himself in Taylor’s favorite nurse doll. When the doll, with Louie inside, gets sold to a doll collector the kids must all work together to get him back home safely.

It’s Taylor’s birthday and Miles is excited about getting his “new” sister a special gift – a ghost dog. When the dog turns out to be a less than the perfect pet, Miles tries to cover it up but gets caught.

Frankie fakes an injury to avoid a play that Michelle is directing at her school.

Louie gets mad when Frankie writes an essay for a prestigious private school that says he is a horrible ghost and he tries to sabotage the interview for the school. Meanwhile Taylor wants Miles to start to respect boundaries.

Ray and Miles agree to help Taylor with her first Halloween party in the house.

Taylor and Frankie ruin Michelle's date.

Michelle's cookie jar is broken.

Ray and Louie accidentally switch bodies right before their annual camping trip.

Frankie tests her friendship with Louie when she ditches him to seek Miles' help on a school project.

The children must work together to retrieve Michelle's secret recipe book after it is stolen by a rival bakery.

The Great Frankini accidentally hypnotizes Miles to become a bad ghost instead of her intended target, Louie. Frankie must find a way to break the spell before Miles destroys Taylor's school talent show performance.

Louie and Frankie step over the line with one of their pranks. The only choice for Michelle and Ray is to break them up for a while. It isn’t long until they realize, however, that the two are better as a team.

Frankie can't wait for "Crazy Cakes Day" with big sister Taylor.Unfortunately, Taylor has other plans, so a slighted Frankie concocts a scheme, involving a popular teen heartthrob, that just might make taylor suddenly free.

Ray’s conservative father visits, and Ray struggles to tell him about his family’s unconventional living arrangement with the Hathaways.

Louie makes up a story about Ray's occupation on Parent Career Day. Meanwhile Clay Banister food critic of New Orleans comes to Pie Squared but has lost his job due to events in the pilot. In the end Louie admits to Ray that he lied to everyone about Ray's job ,and Clay Banister gets his job back.

Miles' friend worries his family will have to move because their business is haunted.

Louie hosts a meeting for a boys' ghost club; Frankie pretends to be a ghost boy to join Louie's club.

Louie prepares for a duel against his school’s top ghost after Ray builds up his confidence.

Taylor seeks Louie's help while writing a report on Vikings; Louie invites a ghost Viking who wreaks havoc and is difficult to contain.

Louie pranks Frankie on a whole new level. Leading both of the pair to get voodoo dolls that they pit against one another.
