Take off from the Drakensberg Mountains and across some of the bloodiest battlefields from the 19th century at Blood River. Then head to Kruger National Park, over to Pretoria and Johannesburg.

Starting east of New York at Lake Champlain, head to Adirondack Park and over to Lake Placid. Next explore the St. Lawrence River before heading to the Niagara River and its famed falls.

Set out from the Balearic island of Menorca towards a nearby prehistoric site, then explore the island of La Mola and its harbour. Then see castles, fishing villages, ending at Cap de Cavalleria.

Begin the journey across Germany from the island town of Lindau on Lake Constance, then head west to the spa town of Baden-Baden. Next it's on to the Bavarian Alps to see a series of fantasy castles.

Kick off from the north-east corner of Portugal at Braganca, then head west to Guimaraes to a castle known as the Cradle of Portugal. Then go to Viana do Castelo and end at the fortress of Almeida.
