Chef Todd Fisher travels across America in search of kitchen creations that highlight bacon in this series, which begins in Milwaukee with a visit to a restaurant that serves a cheeseburger topped with bacon and peanut butter. Also: a bar that hosts a daily bacon happy hour; breakfast at Frank's Diner; and the Comet Café's bacon-wrapped meat loaf.

A trip to Chicago includes a deep-dish pizza topped with bacon; and a triple-decker BLT. Todd also visits Morrie O'Malley's Hot Dogs

Todd heads to California's Bay Area and while in the town of Orinda, he discovers Harlan Sanders' original chicken recipe; at a 160 year-old mile-house, Todd saddles up for a massively meaty burger; Todd drops in on a mom and pop BBQ joint.

Todd heads to Atlanta, Ga. to dine on a bacon version of the classic comfort food combo of fried chicken and waffles; Todd pairs a pint of beer with an awe-inspiring bacon cheeseburger; Lastly, Todd gets his bacon fill at a vintage gas station.

Todd travels to Detroit, where he meets the makers of an all-pork sandwich. Also: a burger concoction that features four types of bacon.

Todd visits Des Moines, Iowa; and enjoys a sandwich featuring thick-cut bacon and an array of pork; he dines at a restaurant known for serving wonderful pork chops and snacks on bite-sized bacon-wrapped appetizers.

On the streets of Seattle, Todd catches up to a pork-slinging pig truck serving great BBQ; in a tiny butcher shop, Todd tackles classic meals with a twist of bacon; a Seattle burger institution that builds a tower of bacon every day.

Todd travels to Los Angeles, Calif. and slices into a savory pepper steak, smothered with bacon; Todd takes a seat inside a barbecue smokehouse to experience a Cajun stuffed chicken wrapped in pit-smoked bacon; a food truck dedicated to bacon.

Todd meets a bacon fanatic while visiting Baltimore, and samples some local twists on the porky delicacy.

Todd discovers bacon tacos, bacon burgers and a bacon Bloody Mary in Philadelphia; sandwich shop in which almost everything has a touch of bacon.

Todd's in Portland for some pig-centric food; Todd's first stop is a mom and pop burger joint with a monstrous sandwich known as the Filler; Todd's next stop is an 80-year-old sausage kitchen with a one of a kind smokehouse.
