Mary goes undercover as a Spanish man in an attempt to find out which members of staff have complained about her to head office.

Mary and Joe have to work the last shift of the day and a hoodie breaks in and demands some nuggets. Mary locks herself in the freezer, leaving Joe to deal with him alone. She later decides to hold a staff meeting to try to motivate everybody following the attack, but the staff are not impressed.

It has been a slow day at Seriously Fried Chicken and they find out that they are losing all of their customers to a new upmarket fried chicken van called Poulet Etc. Mary becomes determined to think of a way to win back customers.

Ed shows Joe and Amara a nugget that he thinks looks like Jesus, but they are too busy discussing Amara's crush on the new busker who's started playing outside.

Joe and Amara are at the tills when Mary, Ed, Shontal and Derek come in dressed very smartly. They are attending the Seriously Fried Chicken Awards - where Mary is hoping to win Most Improved Restaurant.
