P. Diddy opens the seventh season of the ""Making The Band"" series by starting the search for an all girl group. Diddy and his team went to cities nationwide in search of powerful young women for his new group. 19 finalists move into the NYC loft but Diddy's not satisfied.

The candidates do their best to dance for Diddy.

Diddy's dream team makes the first round of cuts sending four women home, leaving 15 at the end.

Johnny Wright & Doc visits dance rehearsals and see the ladies are making moves on the dance floor, but it's not enough for Diddy. He decides to hold more auditions.

Jason, the new den mother arrives and has some problems when the ladies are late.

The young women try to explain their problems to Jason but he's not really listening.

The girls bring in the big guns to deal with Jason, and his days of serving as den mother come to an end.

Michelle makes a difficult choice, choosing school over a career as a pop star.
