It's the beginning of the outdoor marijuana growing season and that means the cops will be on the look out for illegal grows popping up all over the "Emerald Triangle." It's up to the growers to keep their profiles low and their risk of arrents even lower. When Mike Boutin heads out for his first pot run of the summer he gets dangerously close to getting pulled over with six pounds of marijuana in his truck. Things get really tense however when after returning home there is no sign of his wife Tanwni and their faithful guard dog Lasik.

Disgraced dispensary owner Matt Shotwell arrives in the Emerald Triangle in search of wise counsel and some premium product. But when grower Nate Morris shows up, Matt is sent away nearly empty handed.

After finding his farm was ripped up, grower Nate is forced to turn to an old friend, in order to keep working on a treatment using cannabis for a young sufferer of epilepsy. Matt arrives at Grace Farms and has a rocky first meeting with a supplier

Mike Boutin finds out that his bank account has been closed, and on top of that his gun permit, revoked. These are sure signs that he is under investigation. To make matters worse, his neighbors are claiming he's growing pot, illegally on their land.

A dispute with the neighbors has escalated at Grace Farms, and Mike and Tawni Boutin are visited by a police officer, who informs Mike that he is in violation of Federal Law. If the problem with the neighbors persists, Mike could lose everything.

The Sheriff's Departments are teaming up to take down the biggest grow of the season, and mere miles away Shotwell arrives at Mike Boutin's house to pick up the weed he feels will put him back on top.
